A Little About Me

My film journey began at the USC School of Cinema & Television.  Soon after graduation, I stepped into the industry as an assistant editor on small independent feature films.  Eager to broaden my skill set, I also dove into sound editing, working on notable projects like Other People's Money and Lolita.

My first big break in picture editing came with the U.S. production of the iconic Japanese comic book character, Ultraman.  Now, with four decades of experience under my belt, my versatility spans a broad spectrum of genres, including action, comedy, horror, drama, and reality TV.

My editing philosophy centers on these core priorities:

  1.  Story:  The beating heart of every project.

  2.  Performances:  The soulful connection between     characters and audience.

  3.  Pace and Rhythm:  The dance that keeps viewers   engaged.

  4.  All other considerations:  The fine-tuning that elevates art   to excellence.

My passion for editing is unwavering.  I'm exactly in my element when I'm working with compelling footage and intriguing challenges, crafting narratives that resonate and captivate.
